No phone reception...
Dad must be further from 'civilization' as there's no reception... although a very interrupted call gave me basic info that he cycled an additional 16 miles today to reduce the ride for tomorrow (which was going to be another long one). So, I'm not quite sure where he is, but I think he's fine! Let's hope the weather continues to be better.
Many thanks for all of your comments - I do pass them on and dad really appreciates them,

There was admiration all round at the Cell Group last night as we sat in warmth and comfort! Our prayers were for you and we know you can keep going. Over half way now. Best wishes

The Channel Tunnel is closed, airliners are grounded – three cheers for bike power!! Tomorrow (Saturday) there will be other cyclists on the roads, maps in one hand and sponsor forms in the other, looking for open churches. Theirs is a different mission to yours. I commend to you St. Paul’s words from Phil 3:14/15 ‘Strain towards what is ahead pressing onwards to the goal.’
ps. We missed you at 11.00 am yesterday. Michael.
